Karavan Nights

Ok, so I said i'd like to get my merc group out of Karavan. I don't think that it would be a problem getting them out of asia, the biggest issue would be trying to get them into the UCAS along with my gear. Now I can think of two basic routes. We take some sort of cargo ship across the pacific. Pay off the right people and bam, we are in Seattle's semi Lawless zone. Find our way to alaska and take a tour of the back roads of canada. I'm sure there are a million variations of the two. any thoughts?

I like the trip through Canada and all as the our route.

Bribing folk at the dock could get expensive, since we'd have to cover the customs folk as well as whatever criminal organization already covers the docks.

Mostly, though, I think there's a bit more opportunity for fun stuff happening on a overland trip through rough country.
