A bit about Trigger Empty
PostSubject: A bit about Trigger   A bit about Trigger EmptyFri Mar 23, 2012 7:47 pm

At 7'6", Trigger is short for a troll. She likes to think she makes up for this by having particularly tall black horns, a full foot in height, that stretch up from her hairline. When she was younger, she used to insist that her horns be counted as part of her overall height, always insisting that she would grow to a proper height if they just gave her time. What she lacks for in height, she makes up for in muscle. Her arms are extremely muscular and her broad shoulders speak to her long and easy use with a bow most wouldn't even be able to string, let alone use as an effective weapon. She maintains a daily workout regimen that would make a Wildcat cry and beg for mercy. It’s essential to her staying in peak physical condition and doing what she is best at: killing monsters.

Trigger has made a name for herself as a bounty hunter, taking jobs to go after para-animals others want nothing to do with. Her weapon of choice is an enormous metal bow, strung with cable. It is silent and deadly, much like she is from a distance. Up close, however, she is anything but quiet. Her method of fighting results in something close to the sound of thunder and often leaves those she fights with disoriented and puking for some time after. It’s become a form of hazing in her motorcycle gang. Any newcomers have to fight Thunder (as she is known to her gang) barehanded to prove their merit. She only has to land one hit for them to be on the ground vomiting while the rest of the gang laughs hysterically. No one ever said trolls were known for having a high class sense of humor.

She is at ease on the back of a motorcycle, having spent most of her life there. She doesn’t want to ride inside a vehicle unless it’s absolutely necessary, finding them for the most part much too cramped. Even when there’s space, they tend to feel too confining. This doesn’t come up very often as for the most part, Trigger works alone, hunting. She has on occasion worked as sniper support for one of a few select Shadowrun teams. She enjoys the work, and the money’s not bad, but working with others isn’t exactly a strong point of hers. Still, her parents would like to see her make more of herself. Shadowrunning is more respectable in the world they live in than monster hunting, and they would much prefer if their daughter was working more consistently in that line of work.

If you watch her closely, which is damn hard to do without her noticing that you are doing it, you will see her staring up at the night sky every single night from the moment the sky goes black until the predawn light blots out the dark with pale strands of amber. It’s as if the woman is searching for something that only the stars can tell her, glittering down over the dirty Barrens she has made her life in. Some think she’s got a fascination with space and all that is out there, far beyond this world and what we have here. Others think that that the night gives her a hard on like some kind of vamp. You could try asking her, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Her gang knows why she watches the night, but they’re not likely to tell you either. Best to just let some things lie.
